英文摘要 In this project, an experimental method is used to investigate the thermal characteristics of plate-fin heat sinks cooled by the piezoelectric fan. The effects of the position of the piezoelectric fan and the heat sink dimensions are discussed. The experimental results show that the thermal performance is the best with the blade tip of the piezoelectric fan in the center of the heat sink. In most circumstances, the thermal performance is better with the blade tip of the piezoelectric fan in front of the heat sink than in back of the heat sink. The thermal performance is the worst for the heat sink without any fin. The thermal performance enhances as the fin number of the heat sink increases. Additionally, the improvement is more obvious with the blade tip of the piezoelectric fan in front of the heat sink.
